OUR LOCAL MISSION

We are raising funds mainly by marketing MedAlliesWorld GHM’s products and services to customers worldwide, and by soliciting small business loans, corporate sponsorship and corporate grants in order to build, equip and operate state of the arts healthcare facilities serving the people of Mali and neighboring West Africa's communities. We envision building and operating polyclinics designed as modern community-style, private hospitals consisting of 50 to 120 in-patient beds with 12 - 20 different allied specialty clinics across Africa. Our objectives are: (1) to treat patients locally without the need for medical evacuation to a facility outside of their country of residence; (2) to support a Pan-African physicians and surgeons training program; (3) to create rewarding employment opportunities for healthcare professionals who are willing to remain in practice in Africa; (4) to help establish, manage and promote an affordable and self-sustained healthcare delivery system across Africa.

THE LOCAL COMMUNITY'S NEED & THE VISUAL PROGRESS REPORT

PROPOSED DATE OF INAUGURATION: MARCH 2017

This project involves renovation of an abandoned medical building acquired by MedAlliesWorld, and its conversion into a multidisciplinary specialty-clinic (Polyclinic) featuring 80 in-patient beds and a state of the arts medical and surgical center located 7 kilometers from downtown Bamako City. This polyclinic is designed to provide modern healthcare services in a high density urban environment. Its purpose is to become a model operation of a community-style, private hospital in the region.

In addition to providing routine clinical care and services, the polyclinic will put emphasis on preventive health care, modern outpatient surgery and short inpatient stay to help control cost and to insure a productivity-driven rotation of operating facilities.

PROPOSED DATE OF INAUGURATION : SEPTEMBER 2017

This project MedAlliesWorld / Global-Assist Polyclinic Afrik, Mali - Annexe-1 involves completion of construction for a new medical building acquired by MedAlliesWorld and its adaptation into a modern polyclinic with 45 in-patient beds, located 25 kilometers from downtown Bamako City and 3 kilometers from the international airport. The purpose for this annex is to provide 125 in-patient beds between the two polyclinics. This initial capacity will help meet the demand for adequate healthcare services from the region, across the country and its neighboring west African countries.

OUR COLLECTIVE ACTION

Through coordination with MedAlliesWorld Lifeline Foundation and other humanitarian organizations, Global-Assist Polyclinic will help promote nationwide healthcare education with emphasis to preventive care in collaboration with the national ministry of health and networking hospitals.

Let’s build a stronger foundation for a healthier and safer world.
